Tliu hero, Basil Jonnico. has Leen se- paruled from ids wife by n miaunder standit'B.nud moots her for (lie first timo afterwards in nn old inn. Ho pleadb with her and asks for reassurance, reaf firming his love in eloquent terms. She stands in evident terror and dures not utter a word. This is explained by the fact that the villain has posted his cut throats without nnd has tbreatonod the wife with tho death of her husband if she recognizes him. As sho stands ir resolutely tho villain comes upon tiio scene "Do you know this gentleman?" ho thunders in threatening tones, and as tho cutthroats appear in threatening at titudes, she falter, and half fainting, answers, ''No." The villain loads her off nnd the hero is dumbfounded. No soon er has the villian gono than Jennico teams the truth nnd rushes in pursuit, cutting his way to right and left through tho mon who oppose him. As tho hirolings fall tho hero calls out, "So much for the mon, now far tho mas tor," and rushes off amid the prolonged applaueoof thenudienco. The Prido of Jennico will run threo diya at Portland and is ono of the three companies with Rupert of Hentzau and tho Prisoner of Zenda, under tho able management of Wallace Munroe, and will bo presented at Balum with full staging aud costumes as in the largest cities. Life Raft Sighted Fifteen Miles Cape Beale Pout Tow.nhbnd, Wash., Maroli 3.--What is thought to bo n life rait from the British warship Condor was sighted last Friday by the schooner K. K Wood, 16 m les off Cape Beale, on tho weit end of Vancouver Island. According to the ctplain of the Wood, tho life raft was painted white, and was larger than those usually carried on merchant vessels. It had the appearance of having been in the water some time, as eeagtowth had be gun to accumulate on it. The Heather was quite stormy, or tho Wood would have picked up the rait. The schooner reports that last Tues day, the day previous to the big storm off the California coast, a lono mariner was spoken 76 miles off C'ap Meudlnoo, in a seven-ton sloop. In the sloop was only one mail ami a dog. When asked where he was bound, he replied: "Puget Sound." Next day after speaking the lone manner the storm came up, and it is the opinion of the captain of the Wood that it was unpostible for the sloop to weatlmr the storm, aud in all probabil ity the little cratt, with its occupants, went to the bottom But tfio trouble is that whilo wo eat nnd gonornlly too much, Iho stomach, from abuse nnd overwork, docs not properly digest nnd nstimilnto it, which is tho reusongso many people re main thin nnd under weight; thodlgeet ivo organs do not complotoly digest the llesh-formlng beefsteak aud ugga and similar nholesoma food. There aro thousands of such who are really conflirmed dyspeptics, although thoy may havo no particular pain tr inconvenience from their stomachs. If such porAoua would lay their prS judicoa aside nnd mnku n regular prac tlco of taking, niter each meul, one or two of Sluurt's Dyspepsia Tablets the food would bo quickly ntid thoroughly digested, because tlieso tablets contain the natural peptones and diastase which overy weak stomach lacks, and by sup plying huh want tne stomacli is soon enabled to regain its natural tone and vigor, Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets digest overy form of flesh-forming food, meat, eggs, broad, potatoes, and thli is tho reason they so quickly build up, strengthen and invigorate thin, dyspeptic men, women and children. Invalids and children, eyon tho most delicate, uso them with murkod bene fit na they contain no strong, irrigating drugs, no rnthartlc or any harmful in gredient. Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets is tho most successful and most widely known of any remedy for stomach troubles be cause it is the most reasonable and scl ent ill c of modern modluItieB. Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets aro told by ovi ry druggist in tliu United States and Canada as well as in Great Britain, at CO cents for complete treatment. Nothing further is required to cure any stomach trouble or to make thin, norvoup, d)spoptic people strong, plump and well. 3 it 6 7 Thb KM You Have Always Bought In Use For Over 30 Years.
