While over at the beach lie spent con
siderable time in looking for curios. He
visited tho famous band of "Kopjo" In
dians nnd obtained mativ pointers as to
where thu most beautiful agates could
bo found, and he spent many hours on
tho bench looking for curios. I
Among Ids collection is an ancient i
Battle Ax used by tho famous band of
"Kopje" Indians, it is used for testing
tho quality of water, moss and ribbon,
agatus. This weapon was n very valu-i
able one mid .Mr. Bishop can be congrat
ulated upon obtaining it from thu fa
mous Chief Glass on Faco. Ho lias also '
nu ns'orted lot of agates more or less
rare. Ho has a number of cloud agates
which were teleeted with great care.
Bracelets made of this variety are very '
beautiful and they aru an invariable
euro for rheumatism nud corns. Ho
brought over thu largest water agatu
found on Nye Creek this season, tlio
oas ity contains less than a pint of water.
The balance of the collection contains
eye agates, moss agates etc.. and aru on
exhibition at the store for a few days.
