the previous one, especially daring the
day time.
In Western Oregon tho maximum, or
day, temperatures ranged between 07
and 84 degrees, and tho minimum, or
night, temperatures between 44 and 55
degrees. In Eastern Oregon these vari
ations were for day temperatures be
tween CO and 81 degrees, nnd for night
temperatures between 42 and CO de
grees. Considerable cloudy weather has pro
vailed, and moderately heavy to heavy
showers occured tho foro part of tho
week that were pretty generally distrib
uted throughout tho Willamctto and
Columbia Itlver valleys and over North
eastern Oregon. No rain has fallen In
the Southern half of tho stato.
Spring wheat In tho U'lllamotto vt I-
loy, although generally better than tho
fall sown. Is a very light crop, and a
great deal of It has beon either plowed
up or cut for hay.
