been still rather slim, hut it was esti
mated that thore were 1000 people In
and around the stand this afternoon.
The afternoon races wcro again late hi
starling. The two-year old trot, tost
poueil from Saturday not being decided
at three o'clock, and the pacers being
only warmed up for their first heat.
