Ann, wife of A. N. Gilbert, this city;

county, and Carrlo Gortrudo, who died
at tho ago of two years.
Mrs. McCully for 1)0 years has
resided In Balein. whoro alio has been
noted for kindness, generosity aud
helpfulness, and all who knew her will

her homo on tho northwest corner of
Court and Cottage streets, Thursday,
November 21, 1805, ut !l:30 r. m., aged
78 years, 3 mouths, uficr a few dto's

pneumonia, resulting in her death,
Mrs. Miller was born In Renfrosblre,
Scotland, on August 7, 1817. Bhu wub
married to Win. Miller, who survives
hor, March 28,1837. In May, 1842, they
came to America, settffug lu Illinois,
whero they leslded until 1810, when
they came to Oregou. Tboy lived lu
Yamhill county until 1850, when they
moved to Baleiu, aud havo lived hero
ever slnco.
Mrs. Miller was tho moteer ot nine
children, but ouo of whom Is now liv
ing Mrs. Frank Kellogg, wlfo of
Frank Kellogg, n Salem uttoruey.
