In securing Rey. Farmer the Baptists of Balem wore yery fortunate. Ho Is not only a faithful uud successful pul pit worker, but an educated gentleman and an excellent business man. He is, besides, a practical builder and an architect. Before the people knew what ho was about, ho had the plans all ready for a new church and was go ing ahead with the work. Rev.
