The opening party of tho season was
given Tuesday evening by Mr.and Mrs.
P. M. Abbey, of the Bay View House,
in honor of the Missess Brasfleld and

Part of tho evening was occupied
with vocal and instrumental muslc,after
which tbe party repaired to the dining
room where dancing followed. A
lunch was spread by tbe hostess, the
party was voted a grand success. Those

FRINK. At the home of her son, L.
B. Cooper, four miles north of Inde
pendence, Friday June 28tb, 1891, of
cancer of tbe stomach, Mrs. M. D.
Frink, aged 69 years.
Tbe funeral will take place at 1
o'clock Sunday afternoon, at the resi
dence and tbe remains will be burled
at tho Falls City cemetery.
