KINDERGARTEN TEA.
In order to give tbe public a better
opportunity to judge of the merits and
practical workings of the Kindergarten
system of education, the Salem Kinder
gartens have decided to give a little re
ception at their hall, on Washington's
birthday. The children of Miss Bal
lou's Kindergarten will be present, and
assist, as well ss give some games in
the aplay circle," which represent the
recess or recreation feature of other
schools. After the program, whiob be
gins at 2:30 o'clock sharp, the children
