It was understood that the meeting of taxpayers at the state bouse, was to . formulate a demand for a reduction of tke Marlon county assessment. As a ' restiltof the labors of the committee ap pointed it is rather an endorsement of the assessment as made by Assessor Cofley, a signal victory for that gentle man.
