W. Plastf r, in the rear of the Liberty street marble works, was found guilty. A SURPRISE. Next came the trial of Edward Moo for the larceny of a mare on or about July 4th in the vicinity of Jellerson and afterwards exchanging it for anoth er one in a pasture near Turner. The jury impanelled was composed of the follewing: V. Deucer, Isaac Conklin, L. V. Ehlen, H. G. Sonneman, A. Olinger, A. J. Pattton, N. F. Ryan, W. R. Townsend, Chas. Scott, W. A. Moores, Samuel Parker and Charles Nelson. Attorney Kaiser showed some skill in clearing a man with stealing two horses. It was apparent that Moe was a kind of humane individual and did not believe Iu riding one horse to death, so swapped horses along the road. He was only stealing a ride as the attorney shrewdly put It, and bad not the slightest intention of stealing a horse and thejury so concluded and acquitted E iward Moe. The jury complimented Wm. Kaiser on his able aud successful defease of an almost hopeless case. Attorney John Carson deserves credit for wiuning a case for a threshing ma chine company by his ability to cite law cases. He read decision after de cision to remove the legal props of bis able antagonists until they had not a legtostaudou and the judge cut the matter short by ordering the jury to give a verdict for the company without leaving their seats. While we drive the brain we must build up the body. Ex ercise, pure air foods that make healthy flesh refreshing sleep such are methods. When loss of flesh, strength and nerve become apparent your physician will doubtless tell you that the quickest builder of all three is Scott's Emulsion of Cod Liver Oil, which not only creates flesh of and in itself, but stimulates the appetite for other loods. lTpr4 by Beott A Bowo.
