Every citizen who bad anything to do with the hanging of old man Tolbert and bringing his sons Tom and Walter to justice, are in hourly dread of death. One man who assisted the law against the Tolberts has been assassinated and several others have been shot at, presumably by the friends of Charlie Tolbert's band. Determined citi zens came hero this morning aud armed themselves to tho teeth for tbe purpose of wiping out tho assassins. Kitchon Robbery. Tacosia, Dec. 20. Two masked burgulars entered tbe kitchen of Millionaire S. M. Nolan's residence at American lake, and ordered the servant girl and coaebman to throw up their hands. Both men carried rifles. The man mado a break for tbe door, whereupon one of the bur gulars fired, just missing blm. The coaebmau ran to a neighbor's house, and tbe burglars becoming alarm ed took to their heels. A High Flyer. St. Paul, Dc. 20. A warrant is out for the urrest of Augustus Hornsby, a real estate dealer who lisappeured a fortnight ago. It is presumed that be has run away to avoid a suit entered by Benjamin F. Martin, who alleges tbat last June Hornsby showed him lettern which pretended to give him authority from Antonio Wort man to act as agent to sell real estate; that Horns by sold some $20,000 worth of prop perty: that it now appears ho had uo authority, and that the letters were forged. Hornsby went to Chi cago wtib some $40,000, and in three days lost every cent. For some time he had been hard up and borrowed freely. His wlte had been support ing the family by working for tbe Northern Pacific railroad.
