In a trust, under the name of tho
Pacific Pine Lumber Company.
This company coutioht tho output
of s'xtceu mills, located on tho
Sound, aud at Astoilu and Empire
City, Oregon, having a dally capac
ity of over two million feet. Other
mills, which otherwi.se would run,
aro idle, In obedience lo this great
trado conspiracy. Tho trust not
only owns the mills, but great bodies
of timber lauds, vessels, lugging
roads, aud other Investments.
