Pennsylvania will elect a state
treasurer.
Ohio will elect a governor anil

Virginia will c'c 1 g .vernor and
state ottlcers.
Mississippi will elect n .vernor and
state oflkvrs.
New Jersey will elect governor
and slate iftlc-rs.
Massachusetts will elect governor
and state officers.
Eowu will elect governor and lieu
tenant governor.
Miryland will elect comptroller
and attorney general.
Nebraska will elect n sii rome
court judge and two regents.
Kentucky held a general election
for state treasurer on August 5.
New York will elect state olllcers
except governor and lieutenautgov
crnor. North Dakota, South Dakota,
Washington and Mont ma will
elect full state governments and leg
islatures, which will choose eight
new United States senators. Each
new state will also elect a represen
tative in congress except South Da
kota, which will elect two.
Elections in ten other states will
take place on November 5.
