wished to go to. I walked vory slowly,
partly bceamo I did not wish to spill tho
books that I'd spent tho last hour in collect
ing, and partly becauso of an unaccount
ably liornblo feeling that had como over me.
This part of tho bouso was quitb silent; in
deed it was often so of an evening. Sly
brother had passed mo on his way up
stairs, havlnp; been all day at Jladreporo, and
no doubt being tired had gono to bed. Thero
