Albert Waugh was looking after
some of his freight on the steamer
"Willamette Valley, when he made
a misstep and was precipitated from
the main deck through the hatch
way to the lower hold, resulting in
the dislocation of the right shoulder
and severely bruising him about the
head and chest. Dr. Bushnell gave
him the needed attention.
