state of Oregon Is called to meet at
the city of Portland, Oregon, on
Wednesday, tho 11th day of April,
A. D. 1883, at 11 o'clock a. in.,
for the purpose of nominating can
didates for the following ofllcers,
to-wlt. Representative in congress,
three presidential electors, supremo
judge and district ameers, and to
select six delegates to attend tho
national republican convention,
and to transact such other business
as may properly come before tho
convention. The convention will
consist of 209 delegates, apportion
ed among the several counties as
