the Board of Trustees, and during the
afternoon the board held a meeting
and received and audited the report

tion for July has been good. Farm
work for this month lias, been haying.
harvesting, threshing aud cultivating.
The graiu yield Is light; the winter
oa ts already threshed made about 10
bus-tiels ier acre. ' The yield of hay
was. fairly good.
The army, worms have Infested the
gardens to some extent, bur uo very
serious damage has been done.
"The work on closed cottage Is pro
gressing rapidly.-The roof Is on, the
lathing is being done, aud the build
lug win noon be ready for the plas
terers, . The furnaces at cottages have
lecn repaired, and the uiason is now
at work enlarging the kitchen. - The
tin ceiling of the new kitchen lias
lieen completed and painted end every
thing Is ready for the mason to liegiu
work on the cement floor. This kitch
en will lie finished after the work ou
the farm kitchen is done, i

dune on the wards this month, and all
wards in main buildiug will be occu
pied after this week.

our late war with Spain, diarrhoea
was one of the mot troublesome dis
eases the army had to contend with.
