A Minister's Mistake. ' v
A city minister was recently handed a
notice to be1 read from his pulpit.
Accompanying it was a clipiing from
a newspaper hearing upon the matter.
The clergyman started to read the
extract and found that it began:
"Tale Kemp's Balsam., the best
Cough Cure." This was hardly what
he . fcad expected and, after, a mo

and found on the Othei side the mat

Miss Lockheart's
LETTER TO MRS. PINKHAM.
UTTEft TO U.,nIBM C 67,111
"I cannot express my pratitude to
you for the pood that Lydlai II Iink
ham's Vegetaolo Compound has xlono ,
for me. I have taken five bottles of
the Compound and two boxe s ot Lirer
Villa and feel better' la every respect.
I had suffered for years with dropsy; '
the veina in my limbs burst, caused
from the pressure of the water. I had
the worst kind of kidney trouble, faint
iog spells, and I could not stand long.-. -at
a time. I also had female weakness
and the doctor said there was a tumor
in my left side. ' The pains I had. to
stand were something dreadful. A
friend handed roe a little book of yours,
so I got your medicine and it has saved
nvy life. I felt better from the first
bottle. The bloating and the tumors
have all gone and I do not auffer any
pain. Iam still using the Vegetable
Compound and hope others may find
relief as I have done from its use."
