The pool will open for the summer season on June 7. Mr. and Mrs. Ruth Petter­ son and Tony went to Burley. Idaho over the weekend to a family reunion of the Petter­ son family. The brothers are Ernest. Earl. Merwyn. Chuck and Neil Petterson and one sister. Kerma Olsen. All of their children and grandchil­ dren were there except for three. There were 59 people at the reunion. They deco­ rated the graves at Oakley where many of their ancestors and family are buried. Mr. and Mrs. Brig Olsen and Sue Tracy and girls, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Petterson, all of the Arcadia district attended the reunion. Tuesday. Connell Petter­ son arrived home from Salt Lake City. Utah, where he had been visiting relatives. Last Monday the Neil Pettersons received a call from Toronto, Canada. It was from a couple from South Africa. Nvssa collected 13 points and received its points from Jeff Hipp, placing second in the 440 at 51.26. John Stockland's fourth place in the shot put with a toss of 53- 5Vi and the 440 relay team of Jeff Hipp Clark Ki do. Don Lawrence and Greg Moffls came in 6th. Swim Team Meet June 9 There will be a swim team meeting at Nyssa Swimming Pool. Wednesday, June 9 at 10 a.m. it was announced by Julie Anderson and Megan Jackson, coaches. Anyone interested is urged to attend this very important meeting. Plans for how many will be on the swim team and practice schedules will be discussed.
