Lebanon High Graduate Kelly Tomb, seventeen year old son of former Nyssans, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Toomb will be among the 330 seniors graduating from Lebanon Union High School June 3. He is a member of the concert choir and “The Crescendos,” a selected en­ semble group. He had the lead part of Creon in "Antigone" last fall, and a lead part in "Hansel and Gretel" this spring. She will be attending the convention if one of the other delegates is unable to attend. T The ANK Garden Club met for the May meeting at the home of Mrs. Gladys Newbill with Mrs. Burton Barnes as co-hostess. After being served a delightful desert and dnnk by the co-hostess. Mrs. Barbara Powers of Parma showed her slides of Hawaii. She told of the Powers' bee industry in the Islands and explained how bees were transported from smaller islands to the Island of Hawaii. Mrs. Hazel Westervelt of Longview, Washington was a guest, as teas Mrs. Ruth Steele of Roswell. Mrs. Steel joined our club, making A.N.K.’s second new mem­ ber this spring.
