NOTICK OF PUBLIC
HEARING
We should be giving some
special consideration to those
fall calves. One of the
advantages to fall calves is
that they are big enough to
go strongly in the spring and
take full advantage of the
grass and additional milk the
cow gives when turned on
spring range. By creep
feeding those fall calves, you
can be assured of continuous
growth
and development,
the calves' mother probably
don't give enough milk on
winter feed to assure this
rapid calf growth. It is much
cheaper to creep feed the calf
instead of trying to feed the
mother cow enough addi
tional to keep her milk
production up.
A PUBLK HEARING will
be bold at 7:30 F.M. (MST)
January 29. 1976 at the
Oregon State Employment
Division Office at 37S S.W.
2nd Ave. In Ontario.
Purpose of the meeting will
be to review the Oregon State
Administrative District 14
plan for expenditure of Fiscal
1976-77 Comprehensive Em
ployment Training Act (CE-
TA) funds and receive public
comment regarding same.
Key elements of the
proposed plan Include deter
mination of the population to
be served by these federal
emergency employment and
training dollars, as well as
percentages at dollars to be
allocated between youth and
adult employment programs.

potential employers to ser
ving particular segments of
the local population
