wed two more steps up the
ladder in Greater Oregon
League play over last week­
end, easily beating Crook
County Friday night 63-33,
and coming from behind to
narrowly defeat Madras, 49-
46. The Bulldogs now have
a conference record of 9-0
and a season record of 15-3.
Friday night Crook County
of Prineville made a game
of it in the first quarter,
but Nyssa pulled ahead 34-
14 at half-time and Coach
Gerald Talbot used all his
players in the lop-sided win.
Jeff Marquez with 14 and
Ken Stewart with 11 were
the only players in double
figures as eight other pla-
yers shared in the scor-
ing.
