Gwendolyn Jade Robb became
the bride of Ronald Dean Miller,
June 2, at the Owyhee Com
munity Church. Officiating at
the candlelight ceremony were
the Rev. Fred Moxom of the
Owyhee Community Church and
* Dr. Earl Wilson of Lincoln,
Nebraska.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Robb,
Adrian, parents of the bride
groom
are
Mr. and Mrs.
Lawrence Miller of Big Bend
Community, Adrian.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a Victorian
styled gown of white silk or
ganza featuring an empire waist
and high neckline with sheer
lantern sleeves. Venice flo
wered lace, andpearls trimmed
the neckline and bodice. Both the
gown and train were accented
with seed pearl appliques. Her
three tier fingertip veil edged
in Venice lace was held by an
osprey style bea<*>iece. She car
ried a cascading bouquet of
yellow
rosebuds and white
daisies with babies breath.
In the tradition of something
“borrowed”
and something
"old” she wore her maternal
grandmother Lytle's wedding
ring. The "penny in her shoe”
was an English six pence.
'
Maid of honor was the bride’s
• sister, Julie Robb, wearing an
old-fashioned style gown of yel
low dotted Swiss with white
flocked daisies. The gown fea-
2 lured lantern sleeves, an em
pire waist accented by a yellow
satin ribbon.
Bridesmaids were Sandra
Ward of Nyssa, and Jeanette
Godtel of Portland, friends of
the bride. Their floor length
gowns were fashioned identi
cally to that of the maid of
honor. Each wore matching
white hats with a yellow ribbon
band and a single daisy accent.
The bridal attendants carried
old fashioned parasols of white
lace and organza with yellow
daisy cascades.
Valdeen Tobler, niece of the
bridegroom, was flower girl.
Her dress was styled like the
bridesmaids' and she carried
a white basket of yellow daisy
petals.
Bestman was Nick Gaviola of
Adrian. Groomsmen were Sam
Chaney of Adrian, and Robert
Edmondson of Nyssa, friends
of the bridegroom. Ringbearer
was David Nielsen, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Gary Nielsen. He car
ried a satin and lace heart
shaped pillow with the rings for
the double ring ceremony.
Sherrie Breshears provided
the wedding music at the organ.
The Haney trio - Joyce, Bar
bara and Roger sang. They
were accompanied by their mo
ther, Mrs. Boyd Haney at the
piano.
A reception was held imme
diately following the wedding
ceremony in the church base
ment. The bride’s table was
centered with a beautiful tiered
white wedding cake topped with
fresh-cut yellow and white dai
sies. Cutting and serving the
cake were Mrs. Philip Bre
shears and Mrs. Ben Witty.
Mrs. Gabriel Astoreca served
punch and Mrs. Bill Hamilton
poured the coffee.
Miss Jan Robb was in charge
of the guest book. Robert Johns
and Danny Chaney received the
gifts. The gifts were arranged
