There were 59 girls and lea­
ders from Nyssa and Adrian
at the Girl Scout Day Camp
held June 4-5 and 6.
On Monday, June 4, the girls
and leaders met at 10 a.m. at
the old gymnasium. The girls
started the day by playing a
get-acquainted game. They then
divided into
six teams and
played baseball. The Senior
Scouts made the lunch. After
lunch, girls divided into groups
and did pantomimes of T.V.
commercials.
Tuesday, June 5, the girls
and their leaders met at the
old gymnasium.
They went
to Dunaway Pond by auto for
the day. After dividing into
groups they went on an Alphabet
hunt. After a sack lunch they
returned to groups and enjoyed
making leaf prints from plas­
ter of parts.
June 6, Wednesday, the girls
and leaders again met at the
old gymnasium, traveled by car
to the Adrian park. The girls
were divided into five groups.

stew and other food that had to
cook longer while the others
played baseball, rotten-egg and
electricity.
Following lunch
they played buck-buck.

Nancy Flint, 19, Ontario, recently com­
pleted her first year at Pacific University
and is crew leader. Melene Kane and I>ana
Nelson will be seniors at Ontario High School
next year, and Abby Widman is a Vale gra­
duate who will attend Boise State College

to continue to achieve, continue to help others and keep their goals

The first reunion of Nyssa
High School
classes 1934
through 1937 is shaping up ra­
ther well for the weekend of
July 20, 21, 22 in Nyssa. Re­
gistration and renewing ac­
quaintances will begin at 7 p.m.
Friday night, July 20 at the High
School.
This reunion is not restric­
ted to graduates only but for
anyone who attended these clas­
ses at any time and anyone else
who attended NILS during the
1930’s period will be welcome.

committee so you will receive
a letter and attendance form.
