March 12.1973 for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the Treasure Valley Community College diatrict for th<*r approval or rejection a proposed tax levy for the fiscal year 1973-74 in the total amount of 8859.291 to finance, in part, the operating budget previously approved by the Budget Committee of the Diatrict The ballot title to be submitted to the voters is as follows TAX LEVY MEASURE SI BMITTED BY TRE ASURE V ALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT The Treasure Valley Community College District has no tax base, thus requiring voter approval for a tax levy necessary to finance, in part, the operating budget of the district The district's budge« committee approved an operating budget which provides for 863.34T increase of the 1972-73 operating budget That portion of the proposed operating budget to be financed by the levy of local taxes for the tax year 1973-74 is 8659,291 which if approved will be $37.319 greater than that portion of the operating budget financed by local taxes for the previous year The Board has calculated that the tax rate per $1.000 of true cash value, if the levy is approved, shall be $2 39 n YES, l VOTE FOR THE TAX LEVY r~ì NO.
