Two Nyssa Boys
Injured on Bike
Clayton Webb. 14, and his
brother Tom, 15, received in
juries Friday, June 2 when a
bicycle they were riding flipped
over and they hit the pavement.
State Police officer Dave Cal
vert reported that the boys
were riding the bicycle on High
way 95, north of AndersonCor-
ner in Payette County. They
were going downhill and were
apparently traveling at a high
rate of speed. A newspaper
delivery sack containing gopher
traps, hanging from the handle
bars became entangled in the
wheel of the bicycle.
The bicycle flipped, causing
the boys to be thrown off. Clay
ton, was treated at Malheur
Memorial Hospital for con
tusions to the right hip and
a fractured elbow and released.
Tom was not treated at the
hospital, Calvert said.
