Bybee were Mr. and Mrs. Owen Froerer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bybee and Tami and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith of Beaverton, Oregon. * * * The attractive Christmas Scene on the S. P. Bybee win dow was painted by Mrs. Gary (Ronda) Bybee of Scottsdale, Arizona. Ronda painted the scene while visiting in Nyssa in November. » ♦ ♦ Visiting for several days at the home of Mrs. Ralph Al vard are her daughter Mr. and Mrs. Dick Durham of Tu- son, Arizona. » » » photo By SCHOEN Dorothy Aline Conklin became the bride of John J. McEvoy at a double-ring ceremony per formed on November 13 at 7 p.m. by Bishop Farrel G. Peterson of the Owyhee LDS Ward. Baskets of large white cry- santhemums tinged with red and tied with large red ribbons graced each side of a white archway, intertwined with green ivy and white baby breath. The lovely bride, escorted to the altar and given in mar riage by her father, chose an A-line floor-length gown of white satin covered with or gandy. Lace and tiny seed pearls enhanced the scalloped neckline. The low back featured tiny satin covered buttons with a satin bow at the waistline. Her floor-length Spanish Style veil was accentedby lace panels as was the long fitted sleeves. She carried a bridal bouquet of red sweetheart roses and white daisy pom poms with yellow centers and tied with white satin ribbons. Mary Conklin was maid of honor for her sister. She wore a street-length dress of red brocade featuring red chif fon bell sleeves. The empire waist was accented will, a wide red ribbon. She carried a single wtiite rose. Junior bridesmaids were Ann and Aria McEvoy, sisters of the groom. They wore dresses identical to the maid of honor and also carried white roses. Best man was Elmer Mc Evoy, brother of the groom. Ushering the guests were Ben Conklin, brother of the bride and Michael McEvoy brother of the groom. The bride’s mother chose a pink polyester dress for her daughter's wedding. The bride groom’s mother chose a blue polyester dress. Each wore identical corsages of red roses and white daisies. A reception following the ceremony was held in the Cul tural Hall of the Owyhee LDS Ward. The bride’s table was centered with a three tiered white cake decorated with red roses and white bells and top ped with a miniature bride and groom. Mrs. Marie Conklin, aunt of the bride and Mrs. Lillian Schutt, aunt of the groom cut and served the cake and punch. Guest book was attended by Donna L. Conklin, sister-in-law of the bride. In charge of gifts were Mrs. Lois Green, aunt of the groom and Loretta Cartwright, friend of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Koch were Christmas holiday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Miller in The Dalles. * * * The Rev. and Mrs. Tom Fos ter, Paul, Eileen, Mark and Rose of Madras, arrived Sun day evening for a late Christ mas celebration. They visited and opened gifts at the home of the W. W.
