A discussion on the 18-year- old vote was led by Ernie Met­ calf. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Linegar were appointed to attend a meet­ ing with the Nyssa business­ men concerning plans for a rodeo. It was announced that Po­ mona Grange would meet Satur­ day evening, May 15, at 8 p.m., at Big Bend Grange Hall. A memorial service will be con­ ducted and all grange members are urged to attend whether or not they are Pomona mem­ bers. A cake walk will be part of the evening activities. The bride was attired in a floor-length gown of white or­ ganza, styled with an empire waist and scoop neckline edged with lace. It featured long sheer full sleeves gathered into tight lace cuffs. Her full length veil edged in lace, formed a train at the back. She carried a cascading bouquet of white daisies, daisy chrysanthemums and yellow rosebuds.
