She was taken to a doctor and remained under his care for several days. Early Saturday morning, Sept. 20 a truck hit a bull, belonging to Lee Westmoreland. The accident happened at the bottom of Rome hill. Thedriver said he didn’t see the cattle and that the bull jumped in front of the truck before he could stop the vehicle. The mishap caused the fan to penetrate the radiator. On Sept. 15, Jim Carson, Buster Carson’s brother fella­ sleep at the wheel of his car on the Rome hill causing the auto to hit a guard rail. The impact turned the vehicle around and into a hillside. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Stitzel recently visited with relatives from Union. They visited during a football game at Adrian where five of Dean’s cousins, from Union, participated.
