Jane Timmerman was pre­
sented with her past honored
queen’s pm. Christy Nelson was
given her honored queen’s pin.
These were gifts from Mr.
and Mrs. C. A. Wernick. The
new honored queen was also
presented with a gift from Gold­
en Rule chapter by Bob Holmes
and a petrified rock gavel by
her father, Dick Nelson. She
received the traveling gavel
for District 1 from Don Humb­
le.
Parents of the five top of­
ficers were introduced. And
after the closing ceremony, re­
freshments of cake, punch and
coffee were served.
Vicki Peterson played the
“Waltz of the Flowers’’ from
the “Nutcracker Suite.”

The annual Christmas party
for Amity club members and
their husbands was held Decem­
ber 15 at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Maim of Apple
Valley.

played with prizes won by Mr.

Dec. 15 at theChristianchurch.
New officers for 1968 were in­

CHRISTMAS PARTY
The members of the Malheur
Memorial hospital auxiliary and
the ANK Garden club gave a
Christmas party Dec. 22 for the
Senior Citizens of the Geriatic
ward at the hospital. Each guest
received several gifts and re­
freshments were served by the
club members.
SAMBA PARTY
Members of the Samba club
met Dec. 22 at the home of Mrs.
S. P. Bybee, for their regular
play and a Christmas gin
exchange.
Mrs. E. G. Thompson of
Abernathy, Texas, arrived by
plane Dec. 19 to spend the
Christmas holidays with her
won, Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Jack-
son and family. Other holiday

Mrs. R. J. Hickey of Norfolk,
Nebr., arrived on th«1 evening
of Dec. 23 to spend several
days with her son, Mr. and Mrs.
Arleigh Adams and family. This
is the first Christmas in 25
years that Mrs. Hickey and her
son have been to gether.

several weeks at home. Marvin
is a student at Brigham Young
university. John arrived in
Nyssa on Dec. 16 and plans to
leave for Ft. Lewis on New
Year’s day.
