    Women Injured in Recent Accident
While Attempting to Avoid Cattle
Sewards Attend PTA State Meeting
Return Nov. 29 From Central States

APPLE VALLEY — Mr. and
Mrs. Dwight Seward and Gary
returned home Nov. 29 from a
four - week vacation trip to the
central states. The trio left Nov.
3 and attended a three-day PTA
state meeting at Idaho Falls. They
represented the Apple Valley
unit.
In Salt Lake City they attend­
ed church services and toured
some of the buildings on the Mor­
mon temple grounds. They visit­
ed relatives and toured the U. S.
mint and Museum of Natural
Science at Denver.
The Sewards also visited rela­
tives at Palco, Kan., ar.d went to
the same church where they at­
tended services 30 years ago. They
also visited Mrs. Anna Augustus
at Waterville. Kan., other rela­
tives and friends in nearby towns.
They stayed a week with their
daughter and sister. Shirley in
Kansas City, and were Thanks­
giving dinner guests of Martin
League in Wichita.
The trio returned home via
Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming,
visiting the capitol buildings of
each. They were Nov. 28 over­
night guests of their daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Pierce in Twin
Falls. They arrived home Nov. 29
and on the following day received
word of the death of Mrs. Sew­
ard's father, Ed Wild of Nyssa.
Attend State Tourney
Parma Seed was represented at
the recent Women’s Oregon State
Bowling tournament in Albany.
