her that her mother had suffered
a slight coronary attack and was
in the Methodist hospital there.

MISS SNYDER RETURNS
FROM TRIP TO KANSAS
Miss Emma Snyder returned
home July 18 after spending some
time with a brother, Mr. and Mrs.
Earl Snyder at Garnett, Kan.
She also visited other relatives
and friends in the Sunflower state
and attended three reunions, in
cluding a family gathering, a
meeting of former county school
superintendents and a high school
reunion at Ft. Scott. The latter
was for students In graduating
classes from 1896 through 1966.
This was Miss Snyder’s first
trip back to her home state since
she came to Nyssa in 1959.
She was gone from home for
six weeks, one of which was spent
visiting a nephew, Floyd Earl
Brown and family at Pocatello.
