Brad Burningham was cre­ dited with the win, taking over in the sixth inning for starter Mike Kodama when the score was tied 4-4. Pitcher Loses With Two-Hitter In the second game the Bull­ dogs were defeated 2-1, despite a two-hit, nine strikeout perform­ ance by John Moore. Kodama ruined Eagle Hessing’s bid for a shut-out when he slammed out a triple and scored on a fielder’s choice in the seventh inning. Nyssa lost to the Caldwell Cou­ gars 9-1 in a Tuesday afternoon game on the Bulldogs’ diamond. Mike Garman was the big man for the Idaho team, striking out eight Nyssa hitters and in his four times at bat, blasting two triples, a double and a single. Swede Mason was the only Bulldog threat at the plate as he had two of Nyssa’s three hits. The Bulldogs travel to Wei­ ser Friday afternoon and will go io Payette next Tuesday, April 5, with an April 7 contest scheduled in Ontario. Fruit Cocktail 1 For . games during the first week. She has also spent some time with her hus­ band’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ballard Sr., who reside near No­ tus. He came to Ontario from Sun City, Aris., where he was resident pro at the golf course there. Westcott is a native of Ontario and resided there for 19 years. After taking airline training he. too, went into the golfing profession and also came to the area course from Sun City.
