Cartwright took a birthday cuke
on Dec. 18 to the home of her
brother in-luw mid sister, Mr. and
Mis. Bill Lawler lit Meridian. A
special guest was the ladies’ mo­
ther, Mi Nuomi Wright of Nam­

honored on their birthduy anni­
versaries.
Mrs. Wright was celebrating her

The Jackson family returned
home New Year’s eve and Lynn
left Sunday to return to Oregon
State university in Corvallis.

NU ACRES—Janice Evans suf-
fered a light heart attack Sunday
afternoon at her home. She is
confined to her residence for a
period of rest and is reported to
be doing as well as can be expect­
ed at this time.
Mrs. Arvin Kersey and sons
were recent Wednesday visitors
at the home of her mother, Mrs.
Effie Nielsen.
Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson
were Christmas dinner guests of
their son, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert
Wilson and daughters.
Mrs. Chuck Nelson of Home­
dale recently took her grand­
mother, Mrs. Effie Nielsen, to
St. Luke’s hospital in Boise where
the latter had a medical checkup.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Allison vis­
ited on Christmas day with their
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Funda in Emmett. They were all
Christmas dinner guests at the
home of Funda’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lumir Funda.
Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Jones re­
turned home Monday, much soon­
er than they had anticipated. Ce­
cil Green, who had been staying
in their home, became seriously
ill and was taken to the Veterans*
hospital in Boise.

guests in the Sherman Keck resi­
dence.
