NHS Hoopsters Win One, Lose Two
In Conference Play; Hold 2-3 Record
One win and two losses resulted for the Nyssa Bulldogs
in SRV-A hoop tilts during the past week. On Friday evening
they lost a 63-44 contest to the visiting Huskies from Emmett.

REID DISCOVERED DEAD
IN OWYHEE HOTEL ROOM
Final rites for Raymond Del­
bert Reid, 53, were pending at
Lienkaemper chapel at press time
Wednesday evening.
According to a member of the
Nyssa Police department, he was
found dead early Wednesday af­
ternoon by the Owyhee hotel
manager at 123 Main street in
Nyssa.
He had apparently died in his
sleep the previous night and was
discovered after the hotel man­
ager noted that the light in his
room had not been turned off and
there were no sounds heard in
his living quarters.
