Wayne Callister Transferred io Idaho
Office of Boise-Cascade Corporation

KINGMAN KOLONY —Wayne
Canister arrived home last Thurs­
day night from Oakland, Calif.
He is an accountant for Boise-
Cascade corporation and has been
transferred to Boise from Cali­
fornia.
Mrs. Oscar Schafer is spending
this week in Boise with her mo­
ther, Mrs. LaVada Lenaghen who
is confined to St. Luke’s hospital
with a broken hip. She is re­
ported to 'be doing satisfactorily
after surgery.
Mr. and Mrs. Otis Horn visited
Sunday afternoon with Mr. and
Mrs. Guy Moore.

held their regular meeting May
12 at the home of Mrs. Dale Ash­
craft. Mrs. Burton of Ontario
gave a talk on birds.
Mrs. Trixie Wright of Parma
visited Wednesday afternoon of
last week with Mrs. Carl Bege-
man.
Miles Canada and family of
Jerome visited Sunday evening,
May 10, at the Al Thompson resi­
dence.
Mr. and Mrs. Al Thompson, Mr.
and Mrs. Don Thompson and Mari
Kay visited Saturday in Boise
with Mr. and Mrs. Rex Walters
and in Caldwell at the Herb An­
drews home.
Visitors From Pendleton
JACKSONS RETURN HOME
FROM TRIP TO MIDWEST
Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Jackson
returned home May 9 from a two-
week business and pleasure trip
to Texas, Illinois and Michigan.
Mrs. Jackson reports that the
highlight of her trip was viewing
a performance of the Lipizzan
stallions from the Spanish Riding
school of Vienna which is in the
United States under sponsorship
of Mrs. John F. Kennedy.
Mrs. T. J. Hillman, mother of
Mrs. Jackson, left May 11 to re­
turn to her home at Victorville,
Calif., after staying with the
Jackson children while their par­
ents were away.

Arrives From Hawaii
Lt. and Mrs. Ronald Roth, Kris­
tin, Lissa and Holly Anne arrived
May 8 from Hawaii to visit his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Roth
and Rosemary, and her mother,
Mrs. Leia Broyles and family of
Boise. Lt. and Mrs. Roth had
spent the past 3M years in Hawaii
where he was stationed with the
Marine corps and served as aide
to Generals Youngsdale and Carl.
A dinner was served Sunday I
in the Carl Roth home to honor
the visitors. Guests included Mr.
and Mrs. Herb Kurz of Weiser,
Mrs. Broyles, Donald and Lor­
raine of Boise, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar
Kurtz, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kurtz
and family and Butch Cannon.
Evening visitors were Mr. and
Mrs. Matthew Maxwell of Cald­
well.
Lt. Roth will report June 12 to
San Diego for reassignment.
