Adrian American Legion aux­
iliary members held a regular
meeting and potluck dinner Tues­
day at the home of Mrs. Perle
Davis.
The ladies made plans for a
waffle supper to be served Sat-
urday, Feb. 2, between 5:30 and
8 p.m. in the Adrian grade school
cafeteria.
Next meeting will be Feb. 12
with meeting place to be an­
nounced later.

the child welfare group for the
American Legion auxiliary, re­
placing Mrs. Leon Roberts, Sr,
who has moved to Ontario.
Mrs. Pounds reports that chil­
dren's shoes and clothing, bahy
clothes and men’s work clothing
are needed and may be left at
her home. 608 North Third street.
The new chairman also has
charge of distribution of hospital
beds, wheel chairs and crutches
and any area resident having a
need for these articles may con­
