Eagles auxiliary met Tuesday
evening at the Eagles hall with
officers holding a special session
preceding the regular business
meeting. Eleven members attend
ed the brief meeting. Dorothy
Mitchell missed the jackpot prize
and Mabel Fangen won the door
prize.
Bertha Taylor gave a member
ship report and plans for member
ship drive were made with Jim
mie Ann Hatch and Stella Swager
as team captains. It was voted to
pay two years dues to any mem
ber or members bringing in 10
new members and one year’s dues
to those bringing in five new
members within the next six
months.
The group also voted, since
there is now enough money in the
Carlos Parra art education trust
and savings fund, to set up a spe
cial bank account with Virginia
Brandt as co-signer.

ed refreshments.
Next session will be held Oct. 18
at 8 o’clock. This will be the an
nual Halloween costume party
