Open House Event
At Nursing Home

open house at the Presbyterian
Nursing Home in Ontario Sunday
from this community were Messrs,
and Mmes. Henry Day, Austin
Gilbert, K. I Peterson and Don­
na, Mrs. Edna Cowling and Mrs.
Henry Moore.
Mrs. Pearl Brown of Portland
and Mrs. Cecil Gear of Point Com­
fort, Texas arrived Monday to vis­
it Mr. and Mrs. Francis Deffer.
Mmes. Brown, Gear and Deffer
left Friday morning to visit Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Wiggins at Pendle­
ton.
Messrs, and Mmes. Donald De­
Haven and Bruoe DeHaven and
family are visiting Mr, and Mrs.
George DeHaven. Donald DeHav­
en had the misfortune of wrecking
his car Saturday night. Donald
and Bruce were confined to the
hospital Saturday night due to
bruises but they were not serious­
ly injured.
Mrs. Rose Willis and Mrs. Eula
Wisby were guests of Mrs. Oliver
Freel Sunday.
A fellowship dinner was held
at the Free Methodist church Sun­
day honoring Mr. and Mrs. Geo.
Sams.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Long and

spent the weekend at Lake Owy­
hee, fishing.
