Out Our Way Club
Meeting at Home
Of Mrs. B. Talbot

BUENA VISTA—Mrs. Buster
Talbot entertained the Out Our
Way club at her home Wednesday
afternoon with nine members
present. The next meeting will be
held Feb. 10 with Mrs. Mancil
Bishop. This meeting will be a
Valentine party. Refreshments
were-served by the hostess.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Rookstool of
Caldwell were Tuesday evening
dinner guests at the home of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rook­
stool.
Mrs. Claude Day of Adrian was
a Wednesday luncheon guest of
her sister, Mrs. James Ritchie.
Mr. and Mrs. George Knowles
were Sunday guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Alonzo Knowles.
Dallas Simpson, Shelly and
Scott of Boise and Mrs. Willis
Bertram of Nyssa were Saturday
dinner guests at the Wayne Simp­
son home.
Mrs. Lester Cleaver spent from
Tuesday to Friday in Portland
where she attended a PTA meet­
ing.
Mr. and Mrs. Ercel Goodell and
son of Haigler, Nebr., and Mr. '
Goodell’s mother and brother.
Mrs. Ethel Goodell and Neal of
Ontario, were Monday dinner ■

Schroeder announced this week
the formation of the law firm of
Lytle, Schroeder and Denning as
of Jan. 1, 1960. continuing the
earlier firm of Lytle and Schroe­
der of Vale.
Don Denning, formerly of Bend,
was graduated from the law school
of the University of Oregon in i
1955 was admitted to the Oregon '
State Bar in 1956 and entered the :
United States Air Force as legal*
officer in the office of the staff
judge advocate. As such, he prac­
ticed in Germany and Arizona and
was discharged as a first lieuten­
ant in August, 1958. He became
associated with the finn of Lytle
and Schroeder in January, 1959.
While in high school at Bend,
Denning »as president of the
Oregon Student Bbdy association
and a delegate to* tft% Natiar.al
Student Council association.
