Ore , was top bulldogger, getting
his steer dow n in 10 seconds flat,
w ith B ufford Kinnison. of Baker,
second w ith 10 5. O th er times
w ent as high as 45 seconds.
Prize Money Big
A total of $1740 w ent to th e
w inning contestants in the two
nights.
Phipps was top bulldogger d u r­
ing the tw o nights, and Percifield
was w in n er in calf tieing.
Best saddle bronc, the judges
decided, was G eorge M enken-
m aier, of B urns. Ore., w hile Tom
Downey, of Long Beach, C alif ,
was top m an bareback.
D uring the second n ig h t’s p a ­
rade, p articip atin g organizations

county sh eriff’s posse, and the
M eridian R iding club.

Snodgrass P raised
L ynn Snodgrass, ch airm an of
the rodeo com m ittee, who was
e n tre p re n e u r of the event, as he
has been for the preceding eight
Nyssa rodeos, was highly praised
for his w ork in m aking this y e a r’s
event such a success.
Also in for high com m endation
was the Business M en’s C om m it­
tee of the Nyssa C ham ber of C om ­
m erce, whose prom otional activi-
i ties w ere considred responsible in
m aking the rodeo the record suc-
\ cess it was.
