WSCS Circles Meet
Members of the Naomi and Dor­
cas circles o f the Womens Society
o l Christian Service of the Metho­
dist church met Thursday after­
noon. Many interesting projects
•were discussed by the women and
members o f the Dorcas circle made
plans for a fancy work sale and tea
to be held in the church parlors
March 25 at 2 p m.
Members of the Mary and Martha
cicrle met Thursday evening
Announcement of the General
meeting o f the WSCS has been
made for March 4 at 2 p. m. at the
church. Mrs. James Stephen, presi­
dent of the group has announced
that a very interesting program has
been planned on "Spanish Speaking
Neighbors” . Guest speaker for the
afternoon will be Mrs. Jose Salazar,
wife of the local Spanish minister.
Chatter Box Cluo
Eighteen members of the Chatter
Box club met at the home of Mrs.
Andrew Ekanger for their regular
meeting. Roll call was answered
with a Valentine verse.
Mrs. Willis Bertram presided over
the meeting. Discussion of the pro­
gram for the coming year was held.
Announcement was made that the
road signs are nearing completion.
Mrs. LaVern Cleaver presented a
very interesting program on famous
Americans. A Valentine grab box
was held.
Refreshments of angel food cake,
ice cream and coffee were served by
Mrs. Ekanger and Mrs. George
Cleaver.
The next meeting will be held at
the Leslie Topliff home March 18.

Eagles hall last Tuesday evening
for their Valentine dinner.
During the business meeting, Mrs.
Fay Collins won the door prize. The
evening was spent playing bingo.
