Local Contest To
Open Next W eek:...
Lucky guessers will have an opportunity to try
their skill next week when a new contest opens
at Nyssa Feed Mill
The contest is based on the growth-rate of a number of
chickens which will be on display at the dealer s store.
Mr. Berrett points out that this is purely a local contest,
that someone in this area must win. The amateur has
just as much chance as the expert," he sa id ,' because
even the chickens themselves don't know how fast they
will grow."
The contest will run for several weeks, and the person
whose guess is nearest to the actual weight of the birds
at the close of the contest will be given the chickens
tree of charge. A 100-lb. bag oi feed is being offered as
second prize. Contest blanks may be obtained at the
dealer's store.
