Mrs Mary Thompson took her folks and aunt, Mrs Eastweed to Rainbow lake, near Star and report ed a nice catch of trout. Mrs. Myrtle Hatch made a trip to Nampa Thursday afternoon to pick up some baby chicks she had ordered Mrs Fern Hatch and Mrs. Don Hatt visited in the Harvey Hatch home Wednesday afternoon, calling on their house guests, Mrs. Ludie R. Holmes, and Mr and Mrs. John McFarland of Kansas City. Missouri. Mrs. Frone Stradley Is spending a week visiting in the home of her son, Elmer, in Nyssa. Friends of the Harry Russell fam ily have been Informed that the Russell residence In Toledo, Oregon, burned to the ground last Wednes day Mr and Mrs. Russell lost all of their belongings as they were a- way from home at the time. Miss Helen Hatch took Phillip, Allen Bennett and Alice and Jimmy Thompson to Snively's hot springs on a swimming party Saturday evening. Little Sharan Brock of Emmett is visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Prosser Mr. and Mrs. Haworth of Weiser spent Tuesday night in the Herb Thomas home. Grider Jerseys Are Glassifieil Twenty registered Jerseys in the herd owned by Mr. and Mrs. Charley Grider of Nyssa were recently classi fied under a program of the Ameri can Jersey Cattle club. The classifi cation rated the animals for type, comparing them against the breed's score of 100 points for a perfect animal. The classification was for all prev iously unclassified females that hav? at least one calf and for all bulls over two years old. They were rated by R. E. Erb of the state college of Washington. Erb is an official classifier for the club, which has its national headquarters in Colum bus, Ohio. Of the 20 animals, seven animals scored very good, six rated good plus, six good, and one fair.
