July 12—Mr. and Mrs. Donald De Haven moved Sunday to the Oral Hite ranch in Ridge- view. Ruth Eastman of Spokane is visit ing hei parents. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Eastman. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Brown spent Che Fourth in Boise. They attend ed the ball game that evening at Airway park. M r and Mrs. Charles B. West and family of Longview. Washing ton spent the past week visiting relatives here, Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Martin and fam ily spent the week-end with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. O. J. English o f Nampa. Her mother has been quite ill. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Looney of Portland are vlsitinu this week with his brother, Bill, and family. Mr. and Mrs. George Cartwright left Saturday to spend their vaca tion in Canada, Washington and northern Idaho. W hile they are gone Mrs. Vernon Parker and Ho ward Hathh are helping out in the store. Mr. and Mrs. John P h illip » and family. Phyllis McKee and Sandra Sant left Monday evening for San ders, Idaho to attend a Free Meth odist conference and youth camp. They will be away two weeks. Sam Mackey of Willington, Neva da is visiting this week with his nephew, Jerry Mackey, and family. Rose Willis and Darlene Hamil ton are playing softball with the Peterson team of Nyssa. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Holly and Ted are vacationing at Burgdorf, Idaho. Beginning July 16 Looney’s store will be closed on week days at sev en o’clock., Saturdays at nine, and all day Sunday. Jackie Stevenson celebrated his birtihdav Sunday by taking all his little friends to the show, after which they went to the Stevenson home for refreshments of tee cream, cake and punch. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Henderson yere in Parma on business Monday. Rev. and Mrs. H. E. Moore, L a r ry De Haven and Billy Looney left Friday morning for Seaheck. Wash ington. where they will attend the Presbyterian conference They stopped en route at Prosser to visit friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Drown and daughters of Nyssa visited Sunday in the Bill Ashcraft home.
