NOTICE is hereby given that
School District No. 26c. Malheur
County. Oregon, will receive sealed
bids until 8:00 o'clock p. m on Jan­
uary 8, 1961 at which time they will
be publicly opened by the school
Board of said School District, at the
office of the Clerk o f the said Dist­
rict at the Junior High School build­
ing in Nyssa. Oregon, for the sale
of the Oregon Trail school house
and site including the residence
building situated thereon, together
with contents o f the buildings as
specified herein.
The school site is described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the cent­
er of the County road which is
the southwest corner of Section
13 in Township 20 South o f Range
46 E W. M , Malheur County, Ore­
gon, and running from said point
along the center o f said County
road to a point 4033.90 feet to a
point east of the said southwest
corner; thence 30 feet north to a
point which is the point of be­
ginning of the following described
tract, and running thence North
14.45' degrees east, 305 22 feet;
thence west 372.87 feet; thence
south 295.16 feet; thence east
295.16 feet to the point of begin­
ning, containing 2.26 acres, more
or less;
The school building is approxi­
mately 120 feet x 74 feet and includ­
es a partial basement, with heating
system including automatic stoker
and furnace, plumbing, light fixtur­
es, water pump and pressure system
(All furniture and school equipment
is excluded from said sale.). The
four room frame residence building
situated on said site is approximately
26 feet x 30 feet and includes light
fixtures and running water.
Bids shall be for cash or upon
terms and no bid for less than
$15,000.00 will be considered. A de­
posit of ten (10%) per cent o f the
total bid submitted shall accompany
each bid.
The School Board reserves the
right to reject any and all bids.
