Mrs. Wayne Morris was hostess
to the members of her Tuesday af­
ternoon bridge club at her home last
week. Prize winners were Mrs. El­
don Ulmer, high score, and Mrs.
Ward Wieneke, low score.

4-H CLUB MEETS
The Needle Belles 4-H club met
Friday, April 7 at the home of their
leader, Mrs. Merlin Myers. The
meeting opened with the flag salute,
followed by a short business meet­
ing. Barbara McPartland and Mar-
ylin Myers gave a demonstration
on pattern fitting/ and Carol Mink
gave a talk on introductions. The
guests received Easter baskets. Re­
freshments were served by Carol
Mink and Brenda Myers and games
were played at the close of the
meeting.

Mrs. E. K. Burton entertained the
members of the St. Paul's Guild at

BIRTHDAY OBSERVED
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bibbey entert­
ained Mr. and Mrs. Harold Robbins
at a dinner at their home Tuesday In
observance of Mrs. Robbin’s birth­
day. Following the dinner, a group
of friends arrived for a surprise
party arranged for the occasion.
Coffee and cake were served at the
close of the evening. The honor
guest was presented with a number
of gifts.
ENTERTAINS CLASS
Mrs. Roy Barnes entertained at
an Easter party for tre members of
the first and second year primary
classes of the Christian church at
her home last Tuesday afternoon.
Twenty children and their mothers
were present for the afternoon of
games. Refreshments of ice cream
and cup cakes were served.

FAREWELL PARTY HELD
Mrs. S. P. Bybee and Mrs. John
Stafford entertained at the Bybee
home last Friday afternoon for a
group of members of a former
neighborhood club, honoring Mrs
Frank Cahill. The afternoon was
spent informally with a luncheon
at the close of the afternoon. Mrs.
Cahill, who left last week with Mr.
Cahill to make her home in Mis­
souri, was presented with a lace
tablecloth from the group.
F. H. A. GROUP ENTERTAINED
Members of the Future Homemak­
ers of America and their advisor,
Mrs. Charles Steffens, were guests
of the F. F. A. at a party held at
the school gymnasium Tuesday
evening.
Canasta, checkers and
square dancing were enjoyed during
the evening. The following program
was presented: Violin duet, Laura
Schenk and Donna Lee Wilson, ac­
companied by Betty Fife; a novelty
vocal solo by Ronald Loy; two
quartet numbers by Ralie Williams,
Ned Campbell, Lee Anderson and
Deane Hunter and a reading by
Colleen Bybee. Refreshments of pop
and doughnuts were served at the
close of the evening.
