DECEMBER 8. 1949 THE p WILL When human lives are being lost and the health oi his family and neighbors is en dangered because oi the lack of a modern hospital, the "I Will" man joins with other citizens, even at a great sacrifice, in this united movement to open Malheur Memorial hospital—because HE CARES. The “I Will” Man Names That Will Live When the volunteer workers come to the "I WILL" man it is not necessary for them to "SELL" him on the need of a Modern Hospital. It is not a question of "YES" or "NO" but "HOW MUCH" he can subscribe to make possible the opening of this MUCH-NEED ED HOSPITAL. All who donate ANY amount of money will be known as Found ers of the Memorial Hospital. The names of the founders will be listed in the public lobby. Be a Founder—in order that future generations will know that you helped build Memorial Hospital —give and your name will continue to live. HUMAN LIVES WILL BE SAVED BY THE MEN WHO SAY “ I WILL” ESTABLISH A LIVING MEMORIAL They do not give alibis or excuses but welcome the volunteer work ers in this campaign. THE "I WILL" MEN MAKE REALLY SACRIFICIAL GIFTS AND ARE COOPERATING IN MANY WAYS IN ORDER TO ASSURE THE PEOPLE THE PROTECTION OF THIS MODERN HOSPITAL. In every community there are A FEW WHO CANNOT MAKE A SACRIFICIAL GIFT. In this campaign their position is honor ed because they really want THE PROTECTION A HOSPITAL will afford them and their families. THEY DO NOT GIVE EX CUSES OR ALIBIS to the volunteer workers. THEY ARE HONEST IN THEIR STATEMENTS and the entire campaign organization appreciates their frankness. They are FRIENDS TO THE CAUSE and are HELPING the volunteer workers in every way possible by "BOOSTING" THE PROJECT. A CALL TO SERVICE f | THE COMMUNITY IS UNITED—All thinking citizens will work and contribute to the best of their ability to fulfill this—our great need. This is a call for service, in order that when the need for a hospital comes to YOUR HOME—the answer need not be: "Sorry, we have no available hospital. You must go to a distant city for help." Build your hospital now to protect the lives and health of your neighbors, your own family, and perhaps some day your own. ANY MONEY PAID ON A SUBSCRIPTION CONTRACT OF THE 1947-48 HOSPITAL CAMPAIGN MAY BE ADDED TO ON A s UBSCRIPTION IN THE PRESENT HOSPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING A "MEMORIAL OR V O TFTCTREKr THAT PAID Your name or that of a loved one—wife, husband, mother, father, son or daughter, sister or brother—will be honored, and his or her memory perpetuated by this service rendered the community. Establish a mem orial for yourself or your loved ones by making a really sacrificial gift. You and they will continue to live— year after year, you and they will live—active day and night, relieving human suffering—saving lives. MEMORIALS \ NAMES WILL BE ON PLAQUES IN PUBLIC LOBBY. Ask the volunteer worker for a list of the memorials for units, rooms, beds, etc. Many of these memorials for $10,000, $5,000, $2,000, $1,000 and $500 may be donated by individuals, families, organizations, or businesses ABLE to do so. EACH should DO NATE TO THE BEST OF HIS OR ITS ABILITY in order to make possible the opening of Memorial Hospital at an early date.
