VOLUME XXXXIV ,N0. 31 Tobler’s Will Battle Ontario Softball Team THE NYSSA GATE CITY JOURNAL, NYSSA, OREGON, THURSDAY, AUGUST 11, 1949 MALHEUR JERSEY CLUB WINS TROPHY FOR SECOND YEAR JAPANESE ROBBED OF PICK-UP AND WATCH AND CASH The Malheur County Jersey club has been awarded the Hulburt trophy for conducting the out standing spring Jersey show in the state during 1949, according to information received by the secre tary of the club, Mrs. Charley Grider. The trophy was received at the Oregon Jersey association picnic at Oanby Sunday by Rosel Hunter, president of the Malheur club. Out of a possible 300 points, the Mal heur club scored 283 and Clacka mas 281. The trophy, new this year, was also won by the Mal heur club last year. If it wins again next year, the Malheur club will gain permanent possession of the trophy.
