The re vival will continue through Sunday, February 13. On Sunday there will be Sunday s-%ol at 10 a. . worship i i hour a t 11 o’clock and services in ate evening at 8 o'clock. Revival workers are Reverend Lewis E. Hall, evangelist and Mrs. LLiot, soloist. Both are from Cald well. Special guests for Sunday morn ing, January 30 will be two evang elistic singers. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Crane of Nampa, who will sing and play Che electric guitar. A. R. Herring, pastor of the -unset community church said the meeting will not be denominational. On Tuesday, February 1, a ali- day meeting of the County Holiness inter-denominational association at the Sunset valley hall February 1. E. J. Hobson is president of the .ounty association. The program will include talks and music. The meeting will begin at 10 o’clock in .he morning. A pot-luck lunch will be served at noon. Those a t tending will provide dishes and silverware. Directors and officers of the .wyhee Riding club attended the annual banquet of the Western Riding clubs at Boise Tuesday evening. Election of officers was followed by a dance at the Hotel 3oise. Among those attending vere Mr. and Mrs. Neil Dimmick, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Snodgrass, Mr. tnd Mrs. Roy Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Marshall, and Mr. and Mrs. Oce Schweiaer. Officers of the Owyhee ward, M. I. A., met at the home of Mrs. Lila Mitchell to make detail plans for the coming Green and Gold ball to be held in February. Twenty-five young people attend ed the fireside chat meeting S un day evening at the home of Btshop Richard Maw. Wayne Barrett was peaker for the evening. Members of the Worthwhile club net Thursday afternoon at the G. C. Cooper home, with Mrs. William 3regg and Mrs. Grover Cooper as lostesses. Election of officers was held. Officers for the new year are Mrs. Elver Nielsen, president: Mrs. Fred Babcock, vice-president, and Mrs. James Robb, secretary- reasurer. Refreshments were serv ed to 16 members. The February meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. E. J. Hobson, with Mrs. Homer Brewer assisting. Last Wednesday JVir. an a Mrs. A. R. Herring took their daughter, Esther to Boise last Wednesday to get the leather braces for her back, After spending six months in the E.k’s polio ward in Boise, Esther is home and back in school again. Esther goes each Monday to Cald well for treatm ents and is lm proving steadily. Mr. and Mrs. Emery Hobson a t tended the inter-denominational Holiness association convention held Friday at Nampa. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Parma were Saturday evening sup per guests of Mr. and Mis. Oce S-hweizer. They attended the Sun set valley dance and stayed over night at the Schweizer home. Reverend and Mrs. R. L. KrLier and family of Vale were dinner guests at the William Oregg home Sunday. Mrs. Lew McCoy returned home Friday evening after a five-day trip to Portland, visiting her sis ter. D. W. Randclp, accompanied his daughter, Mrs. McCoy home for a visit. Mrs. William Hamilton oi Nanuxi, a recent bride was honored guest at a kitchen shower given by Mrs. James Langley and Mrs. William Oregg at the Langley home Fri day afternoon. Twenty ladies en joyed an afternoon of guessing games and visiting. ¡Mrs. Hamil ton received many practical and attractive gifts. Refreshments were served to 20 ladies. Mrs. Lewis Mitchell was hostess at a birthday party for her hus band Tuesday evening at her home. The evening was spent In playing pinochle, followed by a late supper. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Philip Mitchell oi Roswell, Mr. and Mrs. I. B, Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Knowles, Dean and Gary Knowles, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Douglas. Mr. and Mrs. Vem Garner, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Garner, Mr. and Mrs. Dick (Stoker, Mr. and Mrs. tvan Stoker, and Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Garner of Emmett were din ner guests a t the home of Mr. and Mrrs. Lee Stoker Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Dimmick and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Patton a t tended a picture show in Ontario Sunday evening and had a late supper a t th e Dimmick home. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Cleaver and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cleaver also attended a shower in Ontario Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Vem Garner and Mrs. Fred Mitchell attended the L. D. S. Weiser conference Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. James Chadd were entertained at dinner in their home Sunday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Conley Locke,t, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Didericksen and family, Miss Elaine Jones, and Homer Dia- ericksen of Caldwell. Mrs. Elmer Conley of Battle Creek, Michigan and her daughter. Fay Marie, was a week-end gues at the home of her sister. Mr. Elver Nielsen. Those enjoying Sur. 1 ay dinner together were Mr. am Mrs. Ernest Smith, Mr. and Mr. Bwen Chard. Mr. and Mrs. Elve Nielsen and sons and the visitors Mrs. Conley and her daughter.
